Promotional film: Welcome to Discovery
Discovery Student Volunteering Swansea (SVS) is a student-led charity based in the heart of Swansea University’s Singleton campus which funded in 1966. There are over 25 different projects split into five sections which targeted to children, vulnerable adults and anyone and organisations that need helping hands. Discovery has around 300 registered volunteers. The aim is to enrich lives of people in Swansea, increasing mutual understanding and equality, supporting students to be aware of lives of others and themselves as well as their personal development.
This promotional film aims to introduce Discovery the charity, volunteering culture, and inspire students to come and volunteer with Discovery people.
In June 2018, the film was showed on big screen at Swansea Cinema & Co.

Flowing led is a classic experiment like hello world, which exists in the learning process of digital circuits and embedded systems. It describes concepts include GPIO and timing, circuit design, plate making, and soldering debugging, which are the key skills for electronic engineering students. The VeriMake team applied these basic knowledge and skills on making subway station signboards in our daily scene. The purpose was to encourage team members to actively participate, design, and present their ideas and skills in their learning process, evoking their awareness of active learning and creating.
